Presentation

This course prepares the adult learner to communicate, ask for and understand basic information related to the world of work. Through real-life situations, the adult learner will improve his oral and written language proficiency.

Content

This course is comprised of 17 learning situations related to the world of work, and includes topics such as: • personal interests, qualities and aptitudes; • various occupations and training possibilities; • working conditions; • job search techniques; • attitudes and behavior in the workplace. Recipients

All adult learners who wish to pass their Secondary 2 French, Second Language.

Prerequisites

None, but it is strongly recommended that the adult learner complete the FRE-1103-3 and FRE-1104-3 courses prior to taking this course, or that he or she have equivalent knowledge.
