Presentation

The course prepares the adult learner to communicate, ask for and understand basic information related to consumer purchases or services that meet their daily needs. Through real-life situations, the adult learner will improve his oral and written language proficiency.

Content

This course includes 19 learning situations related to the theme of consumer needs: • purchase of goods and services; • credit cards; • entertainment; • recreational activities; • consumer habits. A Website with audio files completes the course. Go to http://cours1.sofad.qc.ca/ressources/

Recipients

• All adult learners who wish to pass their Secondary 1 French, Second Language exam. • Anyone who wishes to improve their French.

Prerequisites

None, but it is strongly recommended that the adult learner complete the presecondary courses prior to taking this course, or that he or she have equivalent knowledge.
